SMDR from IP Office is a file of lines. Price, cost centres and private calls are not in it.
Avaya IP Office can send SMDR records in CSV format to a given IP address and port. Without a call accounting program that is just a file of lines – no price at your carrier's tariff, no cost centres, no private-call report. Tarifon receives the records straight over the network on an ordinary Windows PC in the office, with no buffer box and no add-ons in the PBX.
Tarifon listens on a port you choose (8888 by default) and IP Office sends it a CSV line when a call ends, with the call start, the connection time, the ringing time, the caller, the direction, the number dialled and the devices on both sides. Tarifon distinguishes outgoing, incoming and internal calls and records the ringing time. The PBX will not repeat records – only what arrives while the program is running is collected.
Yes, both use the same SMDR CSV format; Server Edition sends records from every node.
No, SMDR is only sent when a call ends.
Calls from that time are not captured; leave it running as a service.
